” I am an expat who is married to a Thai lady.  I have lived in Thailand for over 10 years. I know the construction prices here and know the building industry pretty well. I wanted to find a competent and professional builder, who had a good reputation, was as competitive as any other builder on price, but understood quality. A business colleague suggested I try Kensington. That turned out to be a blessing in disguise. Initially I checked out the web site and e-mailed them. I got an e-mail back within a few hours and met their MD next day. It was quick and easy. Chris was responsive, helpful and took all the stress out of it; knew what he was talking about and gave me total confidence in their abilities. Once Chris has all the information, he provided me a price for the construction drawings. I was happy with price, especially as Chris supervises and helps with ideas during the process. Next we had a meeting with their Thai architect Khun Yos and within a week I was creating designs with their architect; He spoke good English and within 4 months we had completed plans.

“Kensington then gave me a free written quotation. I did in fact get two other quotes too; but I had already made my decision as I was not going to work with people who instilled no confidence in me. It turned out Kensington’s price was in the middle but the lower quote company had replaced quality materials with cheap low end ones. Hence the price difference. It was obvious Kensington could not be beat on quality and value for money. Easy choice for me to make. From design to the finish of the construction, I would definitely use Kensington’s services again. They are a reliable, honest and professional construction contractor.
